Before we met Tiana, she was consistently in solitary at the youth detention center. Volunteers would pray for her through the door as she angrily threw her mattress against it. They kept showing up and praying, and soon Tiana would ask them to pray for her. Her behavior began to improve and soon she could join the group in the commons area for Bible study. She went from not participating to being the first to show up ready, with her New Testament packet and her stapled notes in hand.
