Giving Life

Marva was contemplating aborting her new baby boy because life is so hard now with one kid, to add another one seemed impossible, but she decided to give him life. Parent Life stepped in to provide support. Leaders have taken her to ALL of her prenatal appointments as well as all the social service agency appointments. Being pro life requires sacrifice and partnership, and I’m so grateful for our leaders that sacrifice to help Marva and her boys succeed! Aborting this baby would have been easier for Marva, but she decided to give him life, so we as the church, have a responsibility to help speak life into her story – one appointment at a time, one car ride at a time, one conversation at a time and possibly even in the delivery room with her. — Niccole Wilkes, Parent Life Director
