From Lost To Leader

When Claire first attended a Campus Life event as a sophomore, she was skeptical. She came because her friends did—but what she found was a community rooted in love, authenticity, and the Gospel. Over time, her cynicism gave way to curiosity, and then to faith. That summer, Claire began wrestling with identity and anxiety. In her search for truth, she reached out to friends from Campus Life—and gave her life to Christ. Not long after, she walked into her first CORE meeting—CIYFC’s student leadership program—and learned that one of the girls in the group had been praying for her for two years. In that moment, Claire saw how God had been pursuing her all along. Her life had been changed, and now she wanted to help change others’. Since then, Claire has grown in her faith, plugged into a local church, and was baptized this past fall. Through CORE, she’s learning to lead and share the hope of Jesus with others—just like someone once did for her.
