Support Opportunities

Since beginning in 1944, Youth for Christ has been changing lives and making a difference. YFC's efforts have made a positive contribution to the social and spiritual well-being of teens in our area. Never before has the need to help young people been so great. Our structure allows for many opportunities to help young people through financial contributions combining tax advantages and Christian service.

Donate Now!

Cash

This is the simplest and most common means of making a contribution. Donations up to 50% of your adjusted gross income are tax deductible. Deductions exceeding this amount can be carried forward for use in the next five years. You may want to consider moving up part of your charitable giving to offset a capital gain or to minimize your taxes in a year when your rate will be higher.

Securities

Gifts of stock or other securities held longer than one year receive valuable, preferential treatment under the tax code. Not only will you avoid any capital gains tax due on appreciated securities, but you will get a charitable deduction for the full, fair market value.

Real Estate/Other Assets

Any appreciated assets such as real estate, business, art, automobiles, etc. which have been held long-term may be donated.

Life Insurance

You can give an insurance policy to YFC and take a tax deduction on the cash value of the policy. If you wish to continue paying future premiums, the cost of these premiums is deductible.

Trusts

Assets can be placed in a trust for YFC. You may choose to retain the right to take back all or part of the principle amount or YFC will invest for you and pay income as you desire, with the trust becoming a gift to YFC at the time of your death.

Bequests

Central Indiana Youth for Christ can be named as a beneficiary in your will. You may specify an amount or a percentage of the estate. For the purpose of estate taxes, there is not limit on the deduction.

Gifts-in-Kind

Those who manufacture, sell equipement, or provide services needed by YFC can realize tremendous benefits by contributing the equipment or services.
